The driving scenes of Skyfall set in Shanghai, China; were filmed on location there and in London, England, between November 2011 and May 2012. The Mercedes-Benz S300 that features is a left-hand drive 2010 or later model, distinguishable by the distinctive tail-lights that Mercedes-Benz introduced in the mid-2009 design facelift.

As filming with this car was done in two distant locations it is probable that two vehicles were used in movie production.
