Cast

Much of Casino Royale was set on the island of New Providence in The Bahamas and was filmed on location there between January and July 2006. In the movie Bond rents a Ford Mondeo which has local registration plate 161239.

The car used in filming was a pre-production third generation (Mark IV) Ford Mondeo that was hand-built by Ford Europe's design studio in Cologne, Germany, as it was required for filming a year before this model became commercially available. This particular car was the ST model with a sports body-kit and and special Tonic blue paintwork.
