Cast

In the movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service, James Bond drives a 1968 Aston Martin DBS which carries British registration plate GKX 8G.

Two DBS' were lent by Aston Martin to the movie production company to portray the Bond car: chassis numbers  DBS/5109/R, used for the studio scenes and interior close-ups, and DBS/5234/R, used for the exterior shots. These were six-cylinder models, reportedly with high-spec engines, although not officially Vantage-spec – note the absence of black Vantage badges on the side vents.
